XiT – Regis Herasme
Regis Herasme, XiT (born on July 19, 1990 in NY, New York) is a Washington Heights-born, Bronx-raised artist, producer and student currently attending Binghamton University (Binghamton, NY). Founder and president of the OneXiT Music Group. XiT’s career in music started during his days in middle school when he discovered his interest in song-writing. Inspired by artists such as Eminem and Jay-Z, he started writing raps and since then it has been one of his greatest passions. Shortly after discovering his interest in rapping and song-writing he started producing in order to provide himself with unique beats and instrumentals for his songs. Today, XiT finds himself running the OneXiT Music Group and working with artists such as BlaZe and producers such as JaM. After producing one full length album “Test Drive” and one short EP “The Head-on Collision”, XiT has been working on his newest LP “A Lucid Dream” among other projects such as BlaZe’s iAmNotBlaZe LP. BlaZe – Julio Cabassa
Emotion drives reality, light a match around a highly flammable substance and you have me. BlaZe, a 15 year old kid from the Bronx who uses music as a border between mental suicide and a happy life (whatever that is.) I am whatever I decide to be and I decide to be honest when I say I like to be there whenever someone needs me. I’m a mellow type of dude that sees the good before the bad (but never turns down both as an option) and sometimes I have issues that no one sees or can help me with but I always feel fortunate for the life I have and the friends I’ve been given. I’ve made it to were I’m at right now in my life by staying true to myself even when its dark and I couldn’t see what’s in front of me. Rest assured though that music is what I do, not because of the fame (that’s cool, id love to have it) but because its what I love, its more than an art form its a gateway to mental ecstasy. I’ll always be doing what I love, because if I didn’t I wouldn’t have a heart, and I don’t want to be heartless now, that would just mean I’m like every other real nobody with a power position in life.
